Drawing inspiration from Garden of Delights by Hieronymus Bosch and the numerous variations of the Last Judgment depicting the Final Judgment as recorded in the book of Revelations, Lane explores the myth that revolves around this historical subject, through a contemporary installation.
A small room houses forty plus dolls that are created using wire, flowers and wax.
The floor, painted in oils reveals the artist trapped beneath the structure, recalling Michelangelo's Last Judgment where he places his portrait within the composition.
